EVA Symposium – Will Finland Rise?

Prominent Finnish business leaders, politicians and thinkers gathered together to ponder the effects of the recession on Finland. The event brought together over 400 people to the Old Student House

EVA Symposium consisted of two parts. The first session looked at the effects of the crisis on Finland. Speakers included Mr Jorma Ollila, Chairman of EVA and Nokia; Prime Minister Matti Vanhanen; Mr Sakari Tamminen, CEO of Rautaruukki; Ms Anni Sinnemäki, Member of the Parliament; Mr Jaakko Rauramo, Chairman of Sanoma ja East Office; Ms Anna Granskog, Principal of McKinsey & Company; professor Juha Siltala, Helsinki university; Mr Ole Johansson President and CEO of Wärtsilä; Ms Lenita Airisto, entrepreneur; Mr Janne Gallen-Kallela-Sirén, Museum Director of Helsinki City Art Museum and Mr Mikko Mäenpää, President of Finnish Confederation of Professionals STTK.
