For the first time ever, EVA EXPAT FORUM brought together foreign professionals and experts working in Finland. Over 500 participants from 61 countries gathered at the National Opera House to discuss how to make Finland a better place to live for foreign professionals and their families.

Each year, EVA selects 20 students and young professionals to be EVA Junior Fellows for a period of two years. Deadline for this year's applications is 15 February 2010.

EVA Report 'In Search of Modern Times' is published
EVAs newest report "In Search of Modern Times - Finland's Digital Future" is demanding the state to take action in order to save the Finnish information society. The report is written by Mr Teppo Turkki, Communications Director, Sitra in collaboration with the steering group. Members of the steering group are Mr Risto Siilasmaa (chair), Chairman, F-Secure, Mr Pekka Ala-Pietilä, CEO, Blyk, Ms Sari Baldauf, Master of Economics, and Mr Matti Lehti, Chancellor, Helsinki School of Economics.
