They form a national and international network of experts who help to promote debate and availability of information on topics related to Finnish business and society. EVA Fellows are active in the sectors of politics, economy and\/or research.<\/p>\n<p>EVA Fellowship is built around different co-operative projects. For example, EVA Fellows participate often in writing the EVA Reports. EVA Fellows are selected for one year at a time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>EVA Senior Fellows 2010 are<\/strong><strong> Bo-Erik Ekstr\u00f6m, Pekka Haavisto ja Mika Pohjonen.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.eva.fi\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/1391_bo-erik_ekstrom.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-2563\" title=\"1391_bo-erik_ekstrom\" src=\"http:\/\/www.eva.fi\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/1391_bo-erik_ekstrom.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"69\" height=\"100\" \/><\/a>Bo-Erik Ekstr\u00f6m<\/strong> is a management advisor specializing in regional economics. He is the author of \u201cWill Helsinki be Saved: A globalization Strategy for Municipalities\u201d (2004), as well as numerous analyses on city-specific businesses and city finances. Ekstr\u00f6m also participated in EVA\u2019s \u2018Municipalities and Markets\u2019-initiative.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.eva.fi\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/haavisto_p_79131.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-2732\" title=\"haavisto_p_7913[1]\" src=\"http:\/\/www.eva.fi\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/haavisto_p_79131.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"67\" height=\"100\" \/><\/a>Pekka Haavisto<\/strong> is Member of Parliament and the Foreign Minister&#8217;s special representative in African crises. Haavisto is the author of the EVA Report &#8220;Searching the star of Africa&#8221;, which was published in April. Haavisto is a former Minister for Environment and Development and has also acted as the European Union Special Representative (EUSR) for Darfur.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.eva.fi\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/2205_Mika_Pohjonen.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-2564\" title=\"2205_Mika_Pohjonen\" src=\"http:\/\/www.eva.fi\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/2205_Mika_Pohjonen.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"69\" height=\"100\" \/><\/a>Mika Pohjonen<\/strong>, Specialist Partner at law firm Hannes Snellman OY, is an expert in public procurement and competition law. He has a background in market courts, and written and lectured widely on public procurement. Pohjonen is part of EVAs \u2018Municipalities and Markets\u2019-initiative.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2009 Senior Fellows:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Management advisor <strong>Bo-Erik Ekstr\u00f6m<\/strong> and Specialist Partner <strong>Mika Pohjonen<\/strong> continued as EVA Fellows in 2009.
